The RCA team is bursting with pride to congratulate our President, Josie Young, on her installation as the new President of the Greater Montgomery Homebuilders Association (GMHBA)! Josie was also named 2025 Builder of the Year!

This honor is a tremendous achievement for our company. In her installation speech, she recognized the weight of the moment, noting the incredible honor it is to serve and proudly step into the role as only the second woman to hold this distinguished position.

Looking forward, her vision for the GMHBA is focused on strengthening presence in the community and the local workforce.

Josie highlighted her goals for the year, stating, “First, I want to focus on expanding our membership by being present—not only here in Montgomery, but in every community we serve. Our association is strongest when every builder, every trade partner, and every voice across our region feels represented and included.”

“Second, I am committed to continuing the vital work of strengthening our workforce. We all know the industry is facing real challenges—from labor shortages to skill gaps—and it is our responsibility to help develop the next generation of professionals who will build the homes, businesses, and communities of the future.”

“Finally, I want to ensure we support and elevate our young professionals—those eager to learn, eager to lead, and eager to contribute. But as we do this, we must also honor the traditions, knowledge, and experience of the generations who shaped this association. It is by blending new ideas with time-tested wisdom that we set ourselves up for long-term success.”
